Dance classes etiquette

In many activities, there is something that delineates expectations which is etiquette. Well in dance, there is also a need for etiquette. For dancing such as hip hop or kpop dance classes it's considerably more relaxed but there are things to take note of. There are dance etiquette or things to avoid in dance classes. I myself have broken many rules previously and think some of them are pointless. Here is a compounded list of possible tips just to assist you to together with your dancing:
Treat your dance teacher with respect. Do not say gossip behind the teacher just because you didn't enjoy the class.
Be punctual on the lessons! Waking up late is not an excuse for being late it’s your responsibility and also if you have an authentic reason to leave early you should inform earlier to the dance teacher but aside from this it's respectful to stay in a dance class till the end.
If the dance teacher is speaking, listen to him patiently even if you already know how to perform the required steps. It is a form of respect and courtesy for your teacher.

Pay the teacher with the dance class. Unless you're over a course or is pre-paid don't leave a dance class without paying the teacher.
Avoid eating when you are dancing, teachers may not like you chewing on sweets or gums.
Be an energetic participant. Do not think you could just sit out and don't involve in the dance!
Humble is the key, don't be arrogant and tell everyone in the dance class how great that you are and how you're a far better dancer than them.
In case you are a fantastic dancer, remember how hard it was to begin with and roast newcomers or who aren't of the same quality. When they are your friends, no doubt you can but they'll probably bite once they become better!
